Both Sarsfields and Castlemartyr can be well pleased with this very compeitive Junior League tie at Castlemartyr this evening. In a high tempo encounter Sars eventually came out on top on a 2.22 to 3.12 scoreline. With Aidan O’Neill excellent at corner back, Pat Ryan dictating matters at midfield and Cormac Duggan causing all sorts of problems with his incisive running up front, it took two Ronan Murphy opportunist goals to seal the victory. Jonathon Kelleher, Niall Horgan, and David Crowley pictured above, also made telling contributions to the victory.
